Great way to end our trip. Astonishing food in the restaurant, tasty and enjoyable breakfast with lamb, yoghurt, a varied spread. Marvellous setting, close to hikes as well as the movie theater. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Red Tarns.

Staying here with my family was dope! The kids loved the amazing views from our room, especially at sunrise. We also checked out the planetarium, a hit with the teenagers. They marveled at the stellar show. The location was perfect for exploring the fine trails around Mount Cook.
My kids wished for more dining options. One restaurant for breakfast and dinner was a bummer, especially during winter when options are limited.

The location at Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is marvelous, providing amazing views and access to great outdoor activities. The dated rooms could use some maintenance, and the dining options are somewhat limited and pricey. Service was friendly but could be more attentive.

Our stay was absolutely breathtaking with a stunning view of Mount Cook right from our room, and we loved sipping coffee on the patio while soaking in the scenery. The facilities were great, offering a lovely garden area and a cozy sun terrace perfect for relaxation. One minor thing was the room felt a bit dated, but that didn’t take away from our amazing experience. 🌄

Fine views but the room could use updates
The location is amazing with gorgeous views of the mountains, especially from the restaurant and our room. We stayed in a Premium Plus Super King room that was spacious and clean. The dining options were good, but they can be pricey, so be prepared for that.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, recommending great hikes and activities nearby. The buffet meals were delicious and plentiful.
room amenities were lacking overall.

missingWrote a review on 02 Aprpoor ambiance
Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short, primarily due to the lack of attention to detail in the common areas. The hotel feels more like a processing facility for large tour groups than a cute lodge, with dim lighting and cafeteria-style dining lacking in atmosphere. Check-in was a hassle. Arriving at 4 PM, we had to wait nearly two hours for our room, far from the 2 PM check-in time. The limited dining options with overpriced food left much to be desired, and after a day of outdoor activities, the ambiance was more akin to a busy mess hall than a relaxing culinary experience.
